High school sweethearts Sydney and Keaton’s story began with a football player and a cheerleader, a fitting start to a wedding with a fairytale quality. For their celebration, they brought their guests to Sonoma wine country, where our team traveled from Aspen to plan and produce a full weekend at Montage Healdsburg.

The festivities opened with cocktails beneath the oaks, followed by a welcome party in the Montage ballroom and a late-night gathering at Duke’s in downtown Healdsburg. The following evening, vows on the Oak Lawn gave way to a tented reception on the Grand Lawn, where overhead greenery and layered lighting created a romantic setting for dinner and dancing. An after-party we named The A Club, set in a private space at the Montage, kept the celebration going well into the night. Carta Blanc, our in-house stationery design studio, created the day-of printed pieces, from the large-format escort display, with a watercolor on the reverse facing into the tent, to the menus, signage, and A Club koozies.

A farewell brunch on the Vista Lawn offered one last opportunity to gather before guests departed. Behind the weekend’s effortless flow was a carefully orchestrated production, with every delivery, installation, and shuttle coordinated between the resort and town so the couple and their guests could settle into the celebration.
