This August wedding at T Lazy 7 Ranch was designed to feel as though it had grown out of the meadow. Florals in lavender, cornflower blue, blush, butter yellow, and apricot were planted low along the aisle and around the ceremony circle, with allium, delphinium, and garden roses rising above moss and tiny mushrooms at their base.
The weekend began with a welcome party at a private home, followed by a rehearsal dinner at The Little Nell. There the palette shifted to cobalt and sky blue: anemones, delphinium, hydrangea, and thistle on ivory linens, with bright blue menus and the gondola passing overhead.
For the wedding, guests took their seats on bentwood chairs facing the valley. The sailcloth tent opened through an arch of greenery and climbing blooms, and inside, long tables carried a loose line of ceramic bud vases, pale blue tapers, ranunculus, and poppies, so every seat felt close to the garden. After dark the tent glowed against the aspens, and the night carried on at Silver City Saloon.
