Jenny and Don celebrated their birthdays together with 150 guests over two December nights, each with its own setting and its own personality.

Friday began in the Hotel Jerome courtyard, tented and draped in ivory fabric, with crystal chandeliers and 150 glowing orbs overhead. Guests arrived to a champagne tower, deep red and blush florals, plush lounges, and food stations named for family favorites, from Colorado steak bites to Jenny's chocolate chip cookies. Toasts from friends and family closed out the night.

On Saturday, guests rode the gondola to The Little Nell’s Sundeck at the top of Aspen Mountain for a Viking dinner inspired by the series Vikings. Tables named for Norse gods and realms sat beneath trees and candlelight, set with fur throws and horn cups, and a staged sword fight broke out between courses. After toasts and a slideshow, the dance floor opened, and late-night pizza waited in the gondola building for the ride down.
